Claire Nguyen is currently a junior at Notre Dame High School in San Jose. An avid music lover, she learned the piano and the violin at a young age and has been an
active member of several different choirs throughout her middle and high school years. She has played the violin with the St. Clare choir for over three years and participated in many diocesan liturgies, as well as the annual Santa Clara Faith Formation Conference.

She also participated in the Diocese of San Jose's Summer Youth Liturgical Music Leadership Camp for two years, expanding her knowledge about music and composition. In her second year attending this summer camp, she served as a student leader for the younger student track, which included helping students practice on the keyboard, learn music theory, and sight sing.
